Renalis Acquires Vesica, A Digital Bladder Diary App

Chicago, ILRenalis is pleased to announce the acquisition of Vesica, a digital bladder diary app. Created by Dr. Brina Goyette, MD, the app is based on the paper voiding diary developed and verified by E. Bright et. al. and accepted as the bladder diary of the International Consultation on Incontinence Modular Questionnaire (ICIQ). Dr. Goyette will also be joining Renalis’ Medical Advisory Board.

While she is currently a resident in rural family medicine at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, Dr. Goyette has a deep interest in urology and developed Vesica while in medical school at The University of Calgary.  Additionally, Dr. Goyette received a master’s degree in robotics from Carnegie Mellon University.

“We are pleased to have Dr. Goyette join our team at Renalis. The Vesica app is an exceptional platform that will significantly enhance our bladder health products,” said Renalis CEO, Missy Lavender.
